Monitoring / Service Programs
It is the goal of the Illinois State Water Survey to be a recognized expert in the State of Illinois in the field of watershed science with special technical expertise in hydrologic, atmospheric, chemical, and watershed studies including monitoring and data collection; analyses, assessment and research; modeling; reconstruction, rehabilitation and restoration; GIS and data management; and public outreach. Our scientific and technical experts will play significant roles in science-based evaluation of environmentally sound, sustainable, and integrated watershed management plans and practices in the State of Illinois and beyond.
