Impact(s):
     An effect requiring the specification of underlying conditions and assumptions. For example, the operation of a well for the purpose of withdrawing groundwater, by the laws of physics, must affect water levels within the aquifer being pumped and, therefore, will affect water levels in the vicinity of the pumped well. The degree of impact is dependent upon a number of physical and hydraulic factors. Rather than define a particular impact as "adverse", the ISWS elects to state what the impacts are likely to be for explicitly stated conditions and/or assumptions.
