Maps of Statewide Degree-Day Totals

Select a base temperature, then select whether you wish to see current totals or projected totals (either one or two weeks into the future). Select "Display Map" to see a contour map of the state. The map and table of degree-day totals are calculated with a start date of January 1.

41° (Stalk Borer)
45° (Cereal Leaf Beetle)
45.5° (Bean Leaf Beetle)
48° (Alfalfa Weevil)
50° (Squash Vine Borer)
52° (Corn Rootworm, uses 4 in. soil temperature)
53° (Mexican Bean Beetle)
61° (Corn Flea Beetle)
