ISWS Engineer Earns Designation for Expertise in Water Resources Engineering
Sally McConkey, water resources engineer at the Illinois State Water Survey (ISWS), has been certified as a Diplomate by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE).
The Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) certification is a credential that distinguishes professional engineers who have advanced expertise in the specialty discipline of water resources engineering. Two requirements for the D.WRE certification include licensure as a professional engineer and at least 10 years of professional work experience in water resources engineering.
Engineers with the D.WRE certification are considered leaders in their field.
