Join us in Chicago for the
2009 UCOWR/ NIWR
Annual Conference.

Cities face new and continuing challenges related to water. Expanding urban and suburban populations place increasing demands on limited water supplies in the East as well as the West. Infrastructures are decaying. Pharmaceuticals and other chemicals impact stream ecology. Climate change presents new uncertainties. This conference will address urban water management issues faced by cities in the US and abroad. Topics will include quality and quantity, storm water management, water conservation, local, state, and regional water supply planning, water security, monitoring, and the ever-tightening relationship between water and energy. Participants will gain a broad understanding of the status of urban water management and research in the U.S.

We look forward to seeing you in Chicago!
