William C. Ackermann Scholarship Program - 2002 Recipient

	Mrs. Margaret Ackermann, 	Jason M. Curl Jason M. Curl is the 2002 recipient of the $1,000 W. C. Ackermann scholarship. Jason is pursuing graduate studies in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. A native of Centralia, Illinois, he received his BS from the University of Illinois in May 2001. Upon receipt of his MS degree, Jason plans to work in the consulting engineering field, concentrating on drinking water treatment technology. He was presented the scholarship at a ceremony held at the Illinois State Water Survey on February 28, 2002 in junction with the annual staff service awards. Water Survey Chief Derek Winstanley and Nicholas Schneider, Executive Director of the Nature of Illinois Foundation, made the presentation. Also in attendance was Mrs. Margaret Ackermann, wife of former Water Survey Chief William C. Ackermann and their son, Bill Ackermann.
