Mike Palecki heading AAG Climate Group
Michael Palecki assumed the role of Chair of the Climate Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers earlier this year.
He was selected for this role in 2006, and completed a two year term as Vice-Chair prior to becoming Chair. For the next two years, Michael will guide the
growth and development of the group on behalf of more than 400 members. Key concerns include maintenance of communication within the group regarding important
climate issues, preparation for the Annual Meeting, and development of new initiatives for the Group.
